- Got accreditation for The Imo State University College of Medicine
- This enabled the College to graduate its first set of Medical Doctors in January 2009
- HIV Consulting And Treatment Centres increased from 10 to 45
- Centres for Anti Retroviral Drugs increased from one to six
24 Emergency Obstetrics Centres (EOCs) established - Equipped more Schools of nursing etc.
- Imo State won the COMPASS award for the best state government on health

Agriculture
- For the first time, Imo becomes a rice producing state
- Rehabilitated moribund Adapalm with a new Board inaugurated
- Introduced commercial farming under the Agronova Concept with South African Partners
- 34 hectares of fish farm established at Umuna, Onuimo LGA
- Agronova king fish to hit the market in December 2009

Infrastructure and Public Utilities
- Streets lights in the state capital reactivated/new ones installed
- Abandoned Okigwe water project reactivated
- 211 new water schemes completed
- 620 rural water schemes under construction/reactivation etc.

- Undertaken massive infrastructural rehabilitation

- Facilitated the coming of the Federal Court of Appeal to Imo State

state of the art facilities - 100% Salary increase to Judiciary Officers in Imo State

Imo Job Centre and Finishing School
- First of its kind in Nigeria.
- Placed over 2000 people in jobs, nationally and internationally.
- The Re-training/Job switching of Graduates.

Education
- Set up Imo Children’s Education Fund
- 50 billion Naira Education Fund soon to be launched.
- Rehabilitated 65 secondary schools
- Built 35 ultramodern Classroom blocks for the 27 LGA’s
- Upgraded Michael Okpara College of Agriculture to a Polytechnic (Imo State Polytechnic)
- Plans to relocate Imo State University to a more befitting cite on top gear

Roads
- 332 Kilometres of paved roads complete
- Dualization of all major roads leading into Owerri under construction
- 150 kilometer Imo Boulevard Project linking 19 LGAs with modern toll plazas under construction
- 420 kilometres of paved roads under various stages of construction
- Rehabilitated and constructed 3000 Rural roads under IRROMA
- Employed 3000 youths under IRROMA

Imo Municipal Transport Service (IMTS)
- Introduced the first ever Municipal Transport Service in Imo State
- Total ban of Commercial Motorcycles in Owerri implemented
- Injected 1500 tricycles in place of commercial motorcycles
- Over 150 luxury and mini buses, and 150 taxis cabs introduced in Owerri Capital city under IMTS

Operation Festival
- Imo now records lowest crime rate according to the security agencies
- Launched Operation Festival that resulted in zero crime record during every festival (especially Christmas) between May, 2007 and now
- Reinvigorated Vigilante Groups in each LGA with a vehicles and state of the art communication gadgets
- Created employment for 3000 youths
- Special ENTRACO cadets equipped with BMW motorcycles and communication radios for sanitary inspection
